This coffee was harvested from the Leon lot located on their Cañas Verdes farm.
The Peterson family is central to the story of Panama Geisha.
In 1997, after purchasing Jaramillo Farm, they recognized the potential of a little-known Ethiopian varietal growing on the property. Seven years later, the Petersons entered a Geisha lot into the Best of Panama competition, where it earned top honors and changed the trajectory of specialty coffee.
Today, as the Best of Panama celebrates its 30th year, the Peterson family’s influence can be found in nearly every conversation surrounding Geisha.
Both coffees express Geisha’s distinct character, with elegant floral aromatics and delicate citrus notes.
