About Janson Family Estate
Located in Tierras Altas, near the skirt of the Volcán Barú; Panamá’s tallest mountain. Established in 1941 by Carl Axel Janson of Sweden, the family-operated farm occupies 200 hectares on a private natural reserve that includes lagoons and wetlands. Their lots are situated between 1400-1700m above sea level. A regular finalist in the Best of Panamá competition, the Janson family has been recognized for producing award-winning Geisha, Catuai, Caturra, and Pacamara varietals.
